The leaf margins have a gently undulating appearance, becoming more pronounced on some leaves as the plant develops. Under good growing light, the rich green foliage develops a distinct red to reddish-pink edge that outlines the leaves and emphasises the shape of the rosette.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eThe intensity of this colouring varies with growing conditions. Stronger light and somewhat drier conditions can deepen the red along the margins, with more intense colour possible during periods of strong summer light.
