With its petite, chunky, and pointed blue-green leaves arranged in a dense rosette, adorned with delicate white hairs, this adorable Echeveria is a true botanical gem.

What sets Echeveria rundelli apart is its remarkable ability to display a mesmerizing transformation when happily stressed by intense sunlight and drought conditions. As if blushing with joy, the leaves turn a rosy pink or purple, adding a splash of vibrant color to its already charming appearance.

But it doesn't stop there—prepare to be captivated by the spectacle of Echeveria rundelli in full bloom. Emerging from the center of the rosette on short pink stalks, scarlet and yellow flowers burst forth, resembling a burst of fireworks. In larger clusters, the inflorescences often branch out, creating an even more captivating sight.

Native to the mountains of Oaxaca and Puebla in Southern Mexico, Echeveria rundelli thrives in a habitat where it has adapted to harsh conditions. Its low, rosette-forming habit allows it to freely produce offsets from the base, resulting in dense mounds of succulent beauty. While almost stemless, this charming plant showcases small, densely packed spatulate-shaped leaves. These narrow, glaucous leaves, typically no larger than 3 cm, exhibit a glimmering tuft of glistening hairs at their tips.
