Shipping Fee Adjustment from July 1 - Please Read
Dear Customers,
We know how much you appreciate our flat rate shipping—it keeps things simple and predictable at checkout, no matter the size of your order.
To help offset rising shipping and packaging costs, including Australia Post’s upcoming rate increase on 1 July 2025, our flat rate will increase from $16.00 to $17.00, effective the same day.
We’ve worked hard to keep this fee as low as possible, even as some larger orders cost us over $50 to ship. We appreciate your understanding and ongoing support.

Shipping Method
We only use Australia Post Express Post for all deliveries.
Where Do We Deliver?
We deliver to Vic, NSW, ACT, SA, & QLD only. Due to quarantine laws, we can't ship to NT, WA, and Tasmania.
When Will My Order Ship?
Understanding Shipping Cycles
- Order Deadline: Place orders by 11:59pm every Saturday to get them shipped the following Monday or Tuesday.
- Late Orders: If you miss the Saturday deadline, your order will be shipped the subsequent week.
Why Only Monday/Tuesday Shipments?
We generally only ship on Mondays and Tuesdays to ensure your plants arrive in the best possible condition, avoiding weekend transit delays.
Please Note: If Monday or Tuesday is a public holiday or we have an unusually high order volume, we may also ship on a Wednesday
Why Haven't I Received My Order Yet?
John & Norma's Succulents ships with Australia Post. If you have received a tracking number, track your order here. After receiving your tracking number, any delay with your delivery should be taken up with Australia Post.
If no one is present when Australia Post attempts delivery, they will either leave your consignment in a safe place, leave a calling card, or notify you digitally via text or email if you are a MyPost customer. Your consignment will then be available for collection from a nearby Australia Post retail outlet, according to your preference.
Know Your Shipping Cycle for Timely Reception
Be mindful of the shipping cycle when you place an order to gauge when your plants will arrive. Plan to be home accordingly. A tracking number will be emailed to you shortly after we dispatch your order.
Shipping Costs
- Flat Rate: All orders are shipped Express Post at a flat rate of $17.00, for all orders up to 5kg. If your order exceeds 5 kg, it will likely need to be shipped in multiple parcels. In such cases, we will contact you to confirm any additional shipping charges.
Order Combination Policy
We offer the option to combine multiple orders into one shipment, as long as their total weight is no more than 5kg. To take advantage of this, simply place another order using the free shipping code you will receive with your first order confirmation email.
Please note: The free shipping code is only valid when combining orders made the same week, to be shipped to the same destination and only valid until the weekly order cutoff at midnight Saturday. You will need to use the same email address for both orders.
If for any reason you were unable to use the free shipping code, you may also inform us before the end of the week and we will refund any additional shipping costs.
All refunds are processed after dispatch when we close your order and send you your tracking number. You will receive a separate email for any refunds.
Please note: If you don't use a free shipping code, or request us to combine your orders, we may still choose to do so at our discretion. This usually happens when you have two or more small, low-value orders. However, for orders with a total value exceeding $100, we will generally ship them separately, due to Australia Post's insurance policy. Australia Post covers damages or losses on Express Post mail items, only up to $100 without additional insurance.
Free Gift Policy
A free gift applies to each unique order. If you combine multiple orders, you will receive one free gift for the combined shipment.

After Your Order Has Shipped
Once your order has been shipped, you will be provided with a tracking number. From that point onward, any issues related to delivery delays, damages, or losses should be taken up directly with Australia Post. They offer coverage for damages or losses up to $100 on Express post deliveries, provided the fault lies with them.
What to Do If Your Product is Damaged During Delivery
If you find that the product or products you've ordered arrive damaged, it's crucial to act quickly. Contact us within 24 hours of receiving the package, providing images of both the damaged product and any affected packaging. This will help us assist you more effectively and expedite the resolution process.
Our Commitment to Quality
We hand-pick the highest quality plants on a first-come, first-served basis. If we are short on a specific item, or it doesn't meet our stringent quality requirements, then we may substitute it with either 2 smaller plants, a larger plant than advertised, or refund you.
Please Note:
- All plants are sent bare-rooted with minimal soil.
- Plants may appear slightly different due to pre-shipping drying process.
- Some succulents may arrive limp but will recover with proper care.
- Care notes will be provided with your first and second order (Please keep a copy if necessary for future reference)
