Shipping Method
We only use Australia Post Express Post for all deliveries.
Where Do We Deliver?
We deliver to Vic, NSW, ACT, SA, & QLD only. Due to quarantine laws, we can't ship to NT, WA, and Tasmania.
When Will My Order Ship?
Understanding Shipping Cycles
- Order Deadline: Place orders by 11:59pm every Saturday to get them shipped the following Monday or Tuesday.
- Late Orders: If you miss the Saturday deadline, your order will be shipped the subsequent week.
Why Only Monday/Tuesday Shipments?
We generally only ship on Mondays and Tuesdays to ensure your plants arrive in the best possible condition, avoiding weekend transit delays.
Please Note: If Monday or Tuesday is a public holiday or we have an unusually high order volume, we may also ship on a Wednesday
Why Haven't I Received My Order Yet?
John & Norma's Succulents ships with Australia Post. If you have received a tracking number, track your order here. After receiving your tracking number, any delay with your delivery should be taken up with Australia Post.
If no one is present when Australia Post attempts delivery, they will either leave your consignment in a safe place, leave a calling card, or notify you digitally via text or email if you are a MyPost customer. Your consignment will then be available for collection from a nearby Australia Post retail outlet, according to your preference.
Know Your Shipping Cycle for Timely Reception
Be mindful of the shipping cycle when you place an order to gauge when your plants will arrive. Plan to be home accordingly. A tracking number will be emailed to you shortly after we dispatch your order.
Shipping Costs
All orders are shipped Express Post at the following tiered flat rates:

Tier 1: 1–60 products → $17

Tier 2: 61–100 products → $34

Tier 3: 101+ products → $50
Most customers (ordering 1–60 plants) will continue to pay the $17 flat rate.
Please note: Larger orders may require multiple parcels, but any additional costs are still subsidised by us.
Please Note – Succulent Value Packs 🌵
Our Succulent Value Packs are purchased as a single product, but for the purposes of our tiered shipping rates, the number of plants inside the pack counts as individual products.
Example:

A Value Pack of 6 plants = 6 products

A Value Pack of 50 plants = 50 products
This ensures shipping is calculated fairly and consistently across all orders.
Order Combination Policy

You may combine multiple orders into one shipment, provided you have paid the shipping fee on your first order.

Use the free shipping code included in your first order confirmation email.

The code is valid only for orders placed in the same week, to the same delivery address, and before the Saturday 11:59pm cutoff.
Important: When combining orders, the total product quantity must still match the correct shipping tier:

1–60 products → $17*
-
61–100 products → $34
-
101+ products → $50
If the combined total exceeds the tier covered by your initial shipping payment, we will contact you to arrange the difference.
Example:
If you order 40 plants and pay $17 shipping, then place another order of 30 plants in the same week using your free shipping code, your total comes to 70 plants. This falls into Tier 2 ($34), so an additional $17 shipping fee will apply.
Free Gift Policy
A free gift applies to each unique order. If you combine multiple orders, you will receive one free gift for the combined shipment.

By arrangement only. Please contact us to schedule.
After Your Order Has Shipped
Once your order has been shipped, you will be provided with a tracking number. From that point onward, any issues related to delivery delays, damages, or losses should be taken up directly with Australia Post. They offer coverage for damages or losses up to $100 on Express post deliveries, provided the fault lies with them.
What to Do If Your Product is Damaged During Delivery
If you find that the product or products you've ordered arrive damaged, it's crucial to act quickly. Contact us within 24 hours of receiving the package, providing images of both the damaged product and any affected packaging. This will help us assist you more effectively and expedite the resolution process.
Our Commitment to Quality
We hand-pick the highest quality plants on a first-come, first-served basis. If we are short on a specific item, or it doesn't meet our stringent quality requirements, then we may substitute it with either 2 smaller plants, a larger plant than advertised, or refund you.
Please Note:
- All plants are sent bare-rooted with minimal soil.
- Plants may appear slightly different due to pre-shipping drying process.
- Some succulents may arrive limp but will recover with proper care.
- Care notes will be provided with your first and second order (Please keep a copy if necessary for future reference)
