Sedeveria 'Blue Elf'
Sedeveria 'Blue Elf', commonly known as the Happy Plant, is a beautiful succulent that is highly sought after by both novice and experienced gardeners alike. This hybrid plant is a cross between Echeveria and Sedum, two popular succulent genera known for their unique characteristics and stunning beauty.
One of the most striking features of the Sedeveria 'Blue Elf' is its attractive rosettes of blue-green leaves, which are covered in a thick coating of powdery farina. The leaf tips can blush pink to burgundy, with the brightest colors showing when moderately stressed from direct sun, water shortage, or cold temperatures. In winter, the leaves turn a deep burgundy, intensifying the plant's visual appeal.
But what makes the Happy Plant truly stand out are its gorgeous bright yellow flowers, which first appear like a ray of sunshine in spring and will generally flower around three times per year. The blooms are a source of joy for gardeners and a treat for pollinators like bees and butterflies.
Sedeveria 'Blue Elf' is also easy to grow, making it a great addition to any garden or indoor space. This plant is frost tolerant to 0 degrees Celsius and can thrive in a variety of conditions, including both full sun and partial shade. It is also drought tolerant, meaning it can survive in areas with low water availability.
If you're looking to propagate Sedeveria 'Blue Elf', you can do so easily using leaves or offsets. The plant will also readily offset when grown well, making it an ideal choice for gardeners looking to expand their collection or share cuttings with friends.
Overall, Sedeveria 'Blue Elf' is a stunning and low-maintenance plant that is sure to bring joy and beauty to any space it occupies. Whether grown in a garden bed, a container, or a windowsill, the Happy Plant is a must-have for succulent enthusiasts and nature lovers alike.

The plant you receive may therefore vary from the product images depending on the season, its stage of growth and current growing conditions. These natural variations are part of the character of living plants and do not affect their quality or health.
