Zygocactus 'Fantasia'
Zygocactus 'Fantasia' features pinkish-orange flowers with petals that lay back, revealing more of the stamens and creating an insect-like appearance. The petals fade toward the center, providing a striking contrast. This unique flower stands out for its unusual form and vivid color, making 'Fantasia' a truly special variety.
A member of the Schlumbergera Truncata Dancer Series from Holland, 'Fantasia' is renowned for its resilience and free-flowering nature. It thrives in partially shaded outdoor spots or sunny indoor positions. For optimal blooming and to prevent leggy growth, provide bright, filtered light with short days and long, cool nights, around 11-13 hours of darkness.
Overwatering can lead to rot, so allow the soil to dry on top before watering again. Use a well-drained cactus or succulent potting mix and apply a light water-soluble fertilizer in early spring and late summer to promote blooms. Originating from Brazil, this epiphytic cactus grows naturally on rock crevices and tree boughs, pollinated by hummingbirds.
Perfect for pots and hanging baskets, Zygocactus 'Fantasia' can be grown on patios, under trees, or indoors, adding a unique touch of beauty to any space. Its minimal care requirements and distinctive blooms make it a fascinating addition to your succulent collection.

Succulents naturally change in colour, size and form throughout the year. Many develop richer colours and more compact growth during periods of seasonal stress, particularly through cooler months and brighter conditions, while warmer or lower-light conditions may produce greener, softer growth.
The plant you receive may therefore vary from the product images depending on the season, its stage of growth and current growing conditions. These natural variations are part of the character of living plants and do not affect their quality or health.
