Graptoveria Fred Ives Variegata Crested (White Form) is a rare and captivating succulent prized for its sculptural, fan-like growth and soft, variegated tones. A hybrid between Graptopetalum paraguayense and Echeveria gibbiflora, this unique crested form displays broad, waxy leaves in shades of lime-green and creamy white, occasionally flushed with delicate hints of pink, orange, or lavender when grown in bright light. Its distinctive “white form” variegation adds an ethereal quality, making each plant a living piece of botanical art.
Unlike standard rosette-shaped succulents, this crested form develops a flattened, undulating crest where the growing tip has mutated, producing intricate folds and ripples. While visually stunning, this mutation also makes it slightly less vigorous and more sensitive to environmental stress, particularly in humid or pest-prone conditions. Its tightly packed growth can attract mealybugs or scale, so regular inspection and good airflow are essential for keeping it in peak health.

In very hot Australian climates, a little afternoon protection helps prevent scorching.
