Cuttings are individually selected to provide similar overall value to those shown in the product images. As size varies naturally, additional smaller cuttings may occasionally be supplied where necessary to provide equivalent value.

About Crassula ovata undulata ‘Ripple Jade’
Crassula ovata undulata ‘Ripple Jade’ is a distinctive form of Jade Plant prized for its unusual wavy foliage and attractive tree-like growth. Its fleshy blue-green to glaucous leaves have strongly undulating margins that give the plant a sculptural appearance, often highlighted by contrasting reddish to burgundy edges under brighter light and cooler conditions.
As it matures, ‘Ripple Jade’ develops sturdy branching stems and can eventually form an impressive small succulent shrub. It responds well to pruning and can readily be maintained as a compact specimen in a pot, while plants grown in the ground have the potential to become considerably larger.
Growing from Cuttings
‘Ripple Jade’ is particularly well suited to propagation from stem cuttings. Each cutting already provides a substantial section of established growth, allowing a new plant to develop its characteristic branching structure much sooner than when starting from a leaf.
Allow any freshly cut surfaces to dry and callus before planting into a free-draining succulent mix. Keep the cuttings in bright, filtered light while they establish and water sparingly at first, allowing the growing medium to dry between waterings. Once established and actively growing, they can gradually be introduced to stronger light.
The two cuttings can be planted together to create a fuller specimen or grown separately as individual plants. As new growth develops, the characteristic rippled leaves become increasingly prominent, while good light and seasonal conditions can encourage the attractive darker margins that contrast beautifully with the blue-green foliage.

The plant you receive may therefore vary from the product images depending on the season, its stage of growth and current growing conditions. These natural variations are part of the character of living plants and do not affect their quality or health.
Pickup is available in Seville, Yarra Valley VIC by appointment. Order online as normal and any shipping charge will be automatically refunded after collection, unless you would prefer to receive an additional plant of similar value instead.
