Echeveria ‘Caviar’ – Succulent Cutting

What you will receive

You will receive one healthy Echeveria ‘Caviar’ cutting similar in size and quality to those shown in images 2 & 3. The first image shows an established plant for display purposes and illustrates the attractive clustered growth this variety can develop. Each cutting is carefully selected and supplied ready for planting.

Colour, size and form will vary naturally depending on the season and growing conditions.

Cuttings are individually selected to provide similar overall value to those shown in the product images. As size varies naturally, additional smaller cuttings may occasionally be supplied where necessary to provide equivalent value.

About Echeveria ‘Caviar’

Echeveria ‘Caviar’ is an attractive Korean hybrid distinguished by its petite rosettes, plump foliage and naturally clustering growth habit. Individual rosettes remain relatively compact, generally reaching around 7 cm in diameter, yet can begin producing offsets while still quite small.

The fleshy leaves emerge predominantly green, with established growth capable of developing attractive soft pink, peach and orange tones under suitable light and seasonal conditions. Because younger growth can remain greener while older rosettes develop warmer colouring, a mature clump may display several complementary shades at the same time.

Growing from Cuttings

Echeveria ‘Caviar’ is particularly rewarding to grow from a cutting because of its natural tendency to produce offsets. A single healthy cutting can establish as an individual rosette before gradually developing additional heads around the parent growth, eventually creating the dense clustered appearance characteristic of this cultivar.

Plant the cutting into a free-draining succulent mix and keep it in a bright, protected position while it establishes. Water sparingly at first, allowing the growing medium to dry between waterings. Once established and actively growing, it can gradually be introduced to stronger light to encourage compact growth and the attractive seasonal colouring for which ‘Caviar’ is valued.

As offsets develop, they can be left attached to form an increasingly full multi-rosette specimen or separated later to establish additional plants. For a naturally compact Echeveria, this ability to develop from a single cutting into an attractive cluster makes ‘Caviar’ an especially enjoyable variety to grow and propagate.

Echeveria 'Caviar' cuttings for sale as shown in images. You will receive one cutting same or similar cuttings to those shown. Colours will vary depending on time of year and growing conditions.
