Graptoveria ‘Coconut Ice’ is a popular and eye-catching succulent hybrid that blends the soft elegance of Graptopetalum with the structured form of Echeveria. It grows as a well-defined rosette carried on a short stem, which gradually elongates with age before producing offsets around the base. The thick, pointed leaves display cool blue-green tones, finished with gently wavy margins that flush pink under good light.

Mature rosettes can reach approximately 15 cm in diameter, developing a tidy yet slightly sculptural habit as the plant offsets and forms small clusters. In spring, established plants may produce slender, branching flower stems bearing delicate, bell-shaped blooms. These are typically yellow with fine red markings, adding seasonal interest while remaining subtle and refined.

Colour is one of this variety’s strongest features. With bright light, from full sun to part shade, the foliage develops soft gradients of pale pink, powdery blue, and muted green. Gradual acclimation to stronger sun is recommended to prevent sunburn. As with most succulents, fast-draining soil is essential, along with deep but infrequent watering once the mix has dried out completely. Graptoveria ‘Coconut Ice’ is frost-tender and should be protected during cold Australian winters, particularly in cooler regions.

Offered as cuttings, this plant represents excellent value and versatility. Cuttings root readily, are easy to propagate, and allow you to grow multiple plants over time. They’re ideal for collectors, mixed succulent arrangements, or gardeners wanting a reliable, low-maintenance succulent with soft pastel colour and strong visual appeal.
