Graptosedum 'Nova' Crest is a captivating succulent that stands out for its unusual, crested growth pattern. Unlike the typical rosette formation of its parent plant, Graptosedum 'Nova', the crested version develops fascinating, fan-shaped structures that give it a distinct, sculptural appearance. The leaves, thick and fleshy, transition from green to striking shades of copper and bronze, with the most intense colours emerging in the cooler months.
Originating from the hybridization of Graptopetalum paraguayense and Sedum, this succulent brings together the best traits of both parent plants. 'Nova' Crest is particularly hardy and thrives in a variety of Australian climates. To maintain its vibrant hues, it’s essential to provide plenty of sunlight, ideally in a bright, indirect setting. Over-watering and excessive fertilization should be avoided to prevent the plant from losing its unique coloration and form. Instead, the soak-and-dry method, allowing for extended periods of dryness between watering, is ideal.
