Graptoveria 'Lovely Rose', is a captivating Korean succulent, that is sure to win a special place in your collection. Its unique form, reminiscent of a rose with elongated stalks and petals, sets it apart. A further refined hybrid, between Graptoveria titubans and unknown echeveria, it is sometimes called Echeveria Lovely Rose, however this is incorrect as it belongs to the diverse Graptoveria genus having both graptopetalum and Echeveria in its lineage.

This succulent initially grows as a sea-green rosette, subtly transitioning with pastel color changes over the seasons. Graptoveria 'Lovely Rose' can grow up to 6 cm in diameter, with plump, fleshy, tightly compacted, glaucous leaves, that form a beautiful rosette appearing much like a long stemmed rose

Growing and caring for Graptoveria 'Lovely Rose' is easy, and the rules for care are similar to most succulents. It thrives in a mixture of peat, sand, or other grit, topsoil, and a little bit of compost. This plant likes sunlight, but it will also grow in partial sun with slightly rangy results. However, it needs at least 5 hours of sunlight per day to keep its color. In the hot summer and early autumn when the light is strong, proper shade is needed to avoid sunburning the leaves.

Graptoveria 'Lovely Rose' needs excellent drainage and moderate water. It is best to wait until the potting soil is dry before watering them again. Overwatering is a cause of root rots, and the plant can get several pest infestations. These succulents are generally easily propagated by, leaf cuttings, offsets, or stem cuttings. Even a leaf that drops off will root below the parent plant and produce a new rosette quickly.

This plant grows well in average household humidity levels when grown indoors. It does not like too much humidity. Normal household humidity is good for this plant. Optimal growth temperature is between 15 - 25°C, and the growth period is mainly in the spring and autumn. In summer and winter, you should control the temperature, and the plant should not be exposed to temperatures below 1°C.

Graptoveria 'Lovely Rose' is a small growing succulent that looks fantastic when grown in a decorative pot. When raising this plant, choose high pots, and the bottom of the pot needs to have drainage holes. The pot does not need to be too large, but do not choose small diameter pots as they will affect the growth.

In summary, Graptoveria 'Lovely Rose' is an attractive succulent that can be a centerpiece of your indoor garden. It is easy to grow and care for, with unique form and pastel coloration that resembles a rose. With proper care, it will thrive and bring joy to your home.
