Graptoveria Rubra is a charming succulent that is a popular hybrid of Graptopetalum and Echeveria. Its origin remains unknown, but its beauty is undeniable. This plant prefers light shade, but it can tolerate full sun with proper care. Rubra features a deep ruby color in its young leaves, while the lower leaves take on a brown or gold hue as they age. The plant's color may vary depending on the growing conditions, such as nutrient levels and watering.

This succulent is very easy to propagate through leaf cuttings and offsets. Rubra is relatively pest-free, making it a low-maintenance plant. It can be an excellent choice for ground cover or filler in your garden, adding a pop of color to any landscape.

For best results, position Graptoveria Rubra in an area with morning sun and afternoon shade, especially during the summer months. Graptoveria Rubra can grow decumbent, especially in shaded areas or with ample food and water. However, grown with less nutrients and in good light, it can remain upright. Pruning off unwanted longer growth can encourage the plant to branch more from the base forming a small, tight, and compact bush to no more than 20cm in height.

Overall, this plant is an excellent choice for any succulent lover, whether you are an experienced gardener or new to growing plants. With its stunning color, ease of propagation, and low-maintenance requirements, Graptoveria Rubra is a great addition to any garden or indoor space.
