Echeveria 'Cute Bean' Variegated - Lg clumps
Echeveria 'Cute Bean' Variegated is a delightful clustering succulent with plump, rounded leaves in soft green and pale cream. As its many small rosettes grow together, they form a full, textured clump with a different mix of colour and pattern on every plant.
Soft Variegation and Plump Leaves
The closely packed leaves have the charming, bean-like shape behind the name 'Cute Bean'. Creamy markings appear among the green foliage, sometimes as subtle streaks and sometimes across much of a leaf. In brighter conditions, the outer leaves and tips can also take on gentle pink tones, adding warmth to the pale variegation.
Variegation and seasonal colour will vary between plants. This natural variation is part of the appeal: as fresh rosettes develop, an established clump can display several shades and patterns at once.
A Generous Clustering Habit
Rather than remaining a single small rosette, 'Cute Bean' Variegated produces numerous offsets that gradually fill out around the parent plant. The result is a rounded cluster of plump leaves and overlapping heads, making it an especially appealing choice for a feature pot. The plants pictured show how substantial and intricate these clumps can become.
Growing Echeveria 'Cute Bean' Variegated
Grow in bright light with good airflow and a free-draining succulent mix. Gentle morning sun can help maintain compact growth and bring out soft pink colouring, while protection from harsh afternoon sun is sensible during hot Australian summers, particularly for the paler leaves. Acclimatise plants gradually when moving them into a brighter position.
Water thoroughly when required, allowing the mix to dry appropriately between waterings. Avoid keeping the roots continuously wet, especially during cool weather, and protect the plant from heavy frost. A bright, sheltered outdoor position or a very sunny windowsill can work well, provided the plant receives enough light to retain its compact form.

Succulents naturally change in colour, size and form throughout the year. Many develop richer colours and more compact growth during periods of seasonal stress, particularly through cooler months and brighter conditions, while warmer or lower-light conditions may produce greener, softer growth.
The plant you receive may therefore vary from the product images depending on the season, its stage of growth and current growing conditions. These natural variations are part of the character of living plants and do not affect their quality or health.
