Pachyphytum Glutincaule, also known as 'Sticky Moonstones', is a succulent plant that belongs to the Crassulaceae family. It is native to Mexico and is often grown as a houseplant due to its interesting appearance and easy care requirements.

The leaves of Sticky Moonstones are thick and fleshy, forming a rosette at the base of the stem. The leaves are a pale blue-green color and covered in farina, which gives them a beautiful powdery appearance. The stems are thin and delicate, and sometimes covered in a sticky, glue-like substance which is where it got its name 'Sticky Stem Moonstones' though people have shortened it to 'Sticky Moonstones'.

Pachyphytum Glutincaule aka Sticky Moonstones can grow up to six inches tall and ten inches wide, making them a popular choice for small containers or terrariums. They prefer bright, indirect sunlight and well-draining soil, and should be watered sparingly to prevent root rot.

As with most succulent plants, Sticky Moonstones are easy to propagate. They can be grown from leaf or stem cuttings, which should be allowed to callus over before being planted in well-draining soil.

Sticky Moonstones are not only attractive but also have some potential medicinal uses. They have been traditionally used in Mexico to treat wounds and skin infections, and are currently being studied for their antibacterial properties.

In summary, Sticky Moonstones are a unique and fascinating succulent plant that can be grown as a decorative houseplant or used for potential medicinal purposes.
