Cremnosedum Little Gem Variegata
Cremnosedum Little Gem variegata is a unique and charming succulent that will add a touch of elegance to any garden. This plant is a cross between Cremnophila nutans and Sedum humifusum, and is characterized by its dense clusters of tiny rosettes, each adorned with fleshy, pointed leaves. Unlike the regular form of Little Gem, this variegated version features fine lines of white silk variegation running through each leaf, giving it a much lighter appearance.
Cremnosedum Little Gem variegata can also turn a coppery red in full sun particularly over winter while still maintaining its lovely variegation. In addition to its striking foliage, this plant will produce clusters of pretty yellow flowers once or twice per year, usually in the spring and summer, though it can also flower sporadically throughout the year.
Cremnosedum Little Gem variegata is a hardy and easy-to-grow plant, but it is important to note that it is intolerant of frost and will require protection in temperatures below 2 degrees Celsius. This small plant grows to a height of only about 5 cm and spreads to a width of about 10 cm, making it an excellent choice for rock gardens, small pots, and garden borders. Like the regular form, it can also be grown indoors in good light, adding a touch of beauty to any living space.
