Aeonium aureum, often recognised by its synonym Greenovia aurea, or its common name, Aeonium 'Mountain Rose', captivates with its attractive pale apple-green leaves that form a rosette reaching a diameter of up to 25 cm. This unique succulent, hailed from the exotic Canary Islands, showcases an intriguing life cycle that corresponds with the seasons. During the winter months, the leaves flush out in an open rosette configuration. As summer approaches, the plant ingeniously adapts by curling its leaves inward, forming tight rounded balls to protect its core and conserve water.
The foliage of Aeonium aureum isn't just about practicality; it provides a distinctive visual charm as well. Orders are dispatched according to our weekly shipping schedule, available on our Shipping page, with tracking provided once your order has been lodged with Australia Post.

Pickup is available in Seville, Yarra Valley VIC by appointment. Order online as normal and any shipping charge will be automatically refunded after collection, unless you would prefer to receive an additional plant of similar value instead.

And yet more beautiful babies ... healthy when the photo was taken, but sadly I have since lost them due to my own neglect / inexperience - oh well, trying not to be too hard on myself ... still learning :)
I was nervous about ordering so close to the stupid season. It's hot here. My plants were carefully packed. I have unwrapped them and have them soaking in some water. They will be planted this afternoon when it cools down. Thank you for accommodating my needs. All the best to you.
