Aeonium 'Blushing Beauty' is an eye-catching hybrid succulent that originates from California, USA. Its parentage includes Aeonium canariense and Aeonium 'Zwartkop', resulting in a medium-sized plant that grows up to 50 cm in height. Featuring a rosette of spoon-shaped leaves with a velvety texture, this beauty exhibits green foliage for most of the year, only revealing its signature blush of red and purple during winter and early spring.
Ideal for container gardens or as a potted houseplant, Aeonium 'Blushing Beauty' thrives in full sun to partial shade, and well-draining soil. Its drought tolerance and low-maintenance nature make it suitable for Australian gardens, where it may need protection from frost in colder regions. The vibrant colours of this plant become more pronounced under cooler temperatures and increased sunlight exposure.
A sibling hybrid to Aeonium 'Velour', Aeonium 'Blushing Beauty' is generally greener and more compact in shape. During spring and summer, it produces tall inflorescences with clusters of small yellow flowers. Propagation can be done by collecting seeds or taking stem cuttings and rooting them in appropriate soil. Add this captivating Aeonium to your garden or indoor collection for an interesting and unique touch.
