Chamaelopsis Hybrid
This Chamaelopsis Hybrid is an impressive cactus that is a cross between Lobivia and Chamaecereus. This hybrid plant has inherited the best traits from its parents and is more vigorous than either one. During spring and summer, it produces stunning flowers that are around 3cm in diameter in vibrant shades of scarlet and hot pink. These flowers open up in unison in the sunlight and close again for the night.
The most interesting visual aspect of the Chamaelopsis Hybrid occurs when it forms a clump over time. Each head of the plant can produce several flowers, covering the entire plant in a beautiful display. As this cactus continues to mature, the flowers become more numerous, making for an even more spectacular show.
While the Chamaelopsis Hybrid is a cactus, it is surprisingly easy to care for. It prefers bright, indirect light and a well-draining soil mix. This plant can be grown in a pot and brought indoors during the cooler months or planted outside in a warm, sheltered spot in the garden.
If you're looking for a striking addition to your cactus collection, the Chamaelopsis Hybrid is definitely worth considering. Its vibrant blooms and easy-to-care-for nature make it a must-have for any cactus enthusiast.

Succulents naturally change in colour, size and form throughout the year. Many develop richer colours and more compact growth during periods of seasonal stress, particularly through cooler months and brighter conditions, while warmer or lower-light conditions may produce greener, softer growth.
The plant you receive may therefore vary from the product images depending on the season, its stage of growth and current growing conditions. These natural variations are part of the character of living plants and do not affect their quality or health.
Pickup is available in Seville, Yarra Valley VIC by appointment. Order online as normal and any shipping charge will be automatically refunded after collection, unless you would prefer to receive an additional plant of similar value instead.
