Aeonium Velour Cutting/s
Aeonium Velour is a beautiful Hybrid cross of Aeonium canariense x Aeonium arboreum 'Zwartkop'.created by Jack Catlin. It is one of two plants selected from the batch of seedlings he grew, the other being Aeonium Blushing Beauty. Both plants can look very similar at times depending on growing conditions but Aeonium Velour is generally much darker in colour turning a deep purple over the summer months when grown in full sun and Blushing Beauty stays more green.
Aeonium Velour will grow to approximately 50cm high and 50cm wide. Its foliage particularly on a young plant is covered in small soft hairs giving it a velvety texture and feel to the touch which is why it was named Velour. Its new growth is lemon yellow to lime green contrasting beautifully with shades of red, mauve or purple on the older growth, depending on growing conditions.
Aeonium Velour cuttings will vary in colour depending on season and where we take them from in the nursery. You will receive one good size semi hard wood cutting around 70mm in diameter or larger ready for planting.

Orders are dispatched according to our weekly shipping schedule, available on our Shipping page, with tracking provided once your order has been lodged with Australia Post.
Succulents naturally change in colour, size and form throughout the year. Many develop richer colours and more compact growth during periods of seasonal stress, particularly through cooler months and brighter conditions, while warmer or lower-light conditions may produce greener, softer growth.
The plant you receive may therefore vary from the product images depending on the season, its stage of growth and current growing conditions. These natural variations are part of the character of living plants and do not affect their quality or health.
Pickup is available in Seville, Yarra Valley VIC by appointment. Order online as normal and any shipping charge will be automatically refunded after collection, unless you would prefer to receive an additional plant of similar value instead.
