You will receive one large Echeveria ‘Kerrie’s Choice’ cutting or two smaller cuttings of equivalent value, similar in overall size and quality to those shown in images 3 & 4. Images 1 & 2 show established plants and illustrate the prolific clustering habit this variety can develop as it matures. Each cutting is carefully selected and supplied ready for planting.

About Echeveria ‘Kerrie’s Choice’
Echeveria ‘Kerrie’s Choice’ is a hardy, compact succulent particularly valued for its prolific offsetting habit. Individual rosettes generally remain relatively small, reaching up to around 8 cm in diameter, while established plants can become considerably larger as numerous offsets gradually develop into substantial multi-rosette clumps.
The fleshy leaves are predominantly light green, with attractive orange to reddish colouring developing towards the tips and outer foliage. These warmer tones can become considerably stronger when plants receive good light and are grown somewhat drier, creating an attractive contrast between the fresh green centres and colourful outer growth.
One of the most distinctive characteristics of ‘Kerrie’s Choice’ is the way it produces offsets on extending stems, allowing young rosettes to spread outwards from the parent plant. Given sufficient space, these offsets gradually fill out to create an impressive mass of closely associated rosettes.
Growing from Cuttings
Echeveria ‘Kerrie’s Choice’ is particularly well suited to growing from cuttings because it establishes readily and naturally produces offsets as it matures. A single healthy cutting can develop into an established rosette and then begin producing additional heads, gradually forming the attractive clustered growth shown in our mature plant images.
Plant into a free-draining succulent mix and keep the cutting in a bright, protected position while it establishes. Water sparingly at first, allowing the growing medium to dry between waterings. Once rooted and actively growing, gradually introduce the plant to stronger light to encourage compact growth and richer orange to red colouring.
If two smaller cuttings are supplied, they can be planted together for a fuller display from the outset or planted separately to establish individual plants. As each cutting begins producing offsets of its own, ‘Kerrie’s Choice’ can multiply surprisingly quickly, making it an especially rewarding and economical variety to establish from cuttings.

- All plants are sent bare rooted with no pots and soil, or minimum soil only.
- Due to the drying process necessary for sending plants through the mail, plants may look slightly different than images shown on our website
- Some plants, may look wrinkled when they arrive, may be somewhat limp, or soft to the touch. This is normal as they have been dried out for for a number of days before shipping to avoid rotting in the mail.
- Succulents are very hardy plants and they will recover quickly, providing you unpack them as soon as you receive them follow some simple care instructions you will find with your order.
