Echeveria 'Fu Rong' is a stunning succulent plant that is highly sought after by collectors and enthusiasts alike. Also known as 'Lotus Flower', this cultivar belongs to the family Crassulaceae and is native to Mexico.
'Fu Rong' is a rare Echeveria cultivar that has gained popularity for its unique and intricate rosette-shaped leaves. The leaves are a beautiful shade of green, with a pinkish-red hue on the edges, which intensifies when exposed to bright sunlight. The leaves are also covered in a powdery coating, giving them a velvety texture and a frosted appearance.
This cultivar is a result of the hybridization of Echeveria elegans and Echeveria laui, resulting in a plant that has inherited the best traits from both parents. 'Fu Rong' is a compact plant that can reach a height of up to 15 cm, making it a great addition to any indoor garden or a small outdoor container garden.
While it is a rare and sought-after cultivar, Echeveria 'Fu Rong' is also relatively easy to care for. It requires well-draining soil and moderate watering, and thrives in bright sunlight or partial shade. With proper care, this plant can produce stunning pink and yellow flowers on tall stalks, adding to its already impressive beauty.
