Pachyphytum compactum - Fat Leaf Green Form is a striking new variant of the well-loved Pachyphytum compactum, renowned for its plump, vibrant leaves and captivating stone-like appearance. Native to Mexico, this form distinguishes itself with fatter, deep green foliage that thickens the compact rosette structure. Under ideal light conditions, the outermost leaves develop rich burgundy or purple hues, especially where sunlight exposure is highest, creating a beautiful contrast against the plant's emerald tones.

The plant’s geometric leaves feature angular facets, a result of leaf pressure during growth, giving them a distinct and chiseled look. These dense rosettes remain small, growing to around 5-10 cm in diameter, making them an ideal choice for containers, rock gardens, or succulent arrangements. Pachyphytum compactum - Fat Leaf Green Form prefers bright, indirect sunlight but can tolerate some full sun, which enhances its stress coloration.

Caring for this succulent is straightforward. It thrives in well-draining soil, such as a cactus mix, and requires minimal watering – only when the soil is completely dry. During cooler months, water should be reduced, as this plant is adapted to dry conditions. While tolerant of warm temperatures, it is best to protect it from frost by keeping it indoors or in a sheltered spot if temperatures dip below 7°C.

With its robust yet elegant form, Pachyphytum compactum - Fat Leaf Green Form is a low-maintenance beauty perfect for succulent lovers looking for an eye-catching addition to their collection.
