Sedum comic Tom cuttings for sale shown in images 5 and 6. You will receive 3 beautifully stressed, plump cuttings similar to those shown. First four images are for display to show you the look of mature plants and depth of colour easily achievable with these plants. Being a Sedum they thrive on neglect. We do nothing special to these plants other than leave them outside in full sun and let mother nature take its course. (more tips below)
Sedum Comic Tom is a hardy, easy to grow succulent that is a must have in any collection. It is a compact small grower to around 20cm high. Leaves are a lovely blue colour that get very plump with age and turn a beautiful deep red to purple colour on the tips with lighter shades of colour on the leaf body and margins giving it a very eye catching effect.
We find best results are achieved by leaving outside in all weather conditions in full sun (Melbourne area). Do not overfeed and grow in limited root space for them to grow slow. You can prune and replant the cuttings to fill out the pot, or start a new pot with more heads. They strike very easily and will throw out aerial roots if left dry for a long time or if the roots die from over watering. Extremely hardy and satisfying to grow. Bear in mind my tips though! :)
