Sedum craigii
Sedum craigii is a rare and enchanting succulent, highly prized for its vibrant, changing colors. Native to the mountainous regions of Mexico, this compact plant is characterized by its extremely fleshy and thick leaves, which are a few centimeters long and almost cylindrical in shape. The leaves grow along long stems that tend to cascade over time, making Sedum craigii an excellent choice for hanging baskets or decorative pots.
One of the most distinctive features of Sedum craigii is its silvery, slightly pink foliage that turns reddish under direct sunlight. This transformation is enhanced by a white powdery coating called farina, which protects the plant from harsh sunlight and allows it to thrive outdoors without any issues. Throughout the summer, this succulent's charm is further amplified by its peculiar white flowers, adorned with purple streaks. These flowers have a unique star shape with curved tips, adding to the plant's overall appeal.
Sedum craigii is not just visually appealing but also robust and resilient. It prefers full sun and can tolerate the Australian climate well, making it a great addition to any garden or indoor collection. Its chunky, pink oblong-elliptic leaves resemble those of Pachyphytum bracteosum, adding an interesting variety to succulent enthusiasts' collections. Whether you are a seasoned gardener or a beginner, Sedum craigii is a delightful plant that brings a touch of exotic beauty to any space.

Succulents naturally change in colour, size and form throughout the year. Many develop richer colours and more compact growth during periods of seasonal stress, particularly through cooler months and brighter conditions, while warmer or lower-light conditions may produce greener, softer growth.
The plant you receive may therefore vary from the product images depending on the season, its stage of growth and current growing conditions. These natural variations are part of the character of living plants and do not affect their quality or health.
