Sempervivum 'Pacific Feather Power' is an eye-catching succulent known for its vibrant, seasonally shifting colours and dense webbing of white bristles. This hardy variety forms compact rosettes that start off burgundy in spring before transitioning to lime-green with burgundy-tipped leaves. The plant’s signature cobweb-like bristles add texture and character, especially as they thicken in bright sunlight. By summer, the entire rosette flushes with crimson hues, creating a stunning display in any garden.
‘Pacific Feather Power’ is a cultivar developed by Gossett, renowned for its ability to thrive in Australian climates. It readily produces offsets, or "chicks," on stolons, eventually forming an attractive mat of tightly clustered rosettes. During spring and summer, the plant bursts into growth and even produces showy pink flowers, adding to its ornamental appeal.
Sempervivum, including this cultivar, prefer gritty, well-draining soil and should be protected from excess moisture to avoid rot.
