Crassula ovata variegata
Crassula ovata variegata, also known as Variegated Jade Plant, is a stunning succulent with green, oval-shaped leaves that have striking stripes of white and yellow. In bright sunlight, the margins of the leaves turn bright red, adding an extra element of interest. This slow-growing cultivar can reach up to 1-2 meters in height and 60cm-1m in width, forming an upright, bonsai-like plant with a stout trunk.
Native to South Africa, this plant is best suited to being container-grown in well-drained, loamy soil, as it has a small root system and is intolerant of humidity. Overwatering can lead to root rot, so it's important to let the soil dry out between waterings.
