Aeonium 'Sunburst', also known as Copper Pinwheel, is a striking succulent that is sure to make a statement in any garden or indoor space. This branching plant produces large rosettes of variegated, spoon-shaped leaves that can reach up to 25cm in diameter. The leaves are a vibrant green with yellow edges, and in good light, the plant will display splashes of pink around the edges. The effect is stunning and truly unique.

This plant is incredibly easy to care for and is a great choice for beginners. It is a very stable variegate, with minimal risk of reverting to its non-variegated form. Aeonium 'Sunburst' grows well in the ground, provided there is good drainage. It also looks spectacular when grown in a decorative pot. It prefers cool temperatures, around 18-24°C, and damp soil during the winter to spring growing season. In the summer, the plant may go dormant and require less water, so it is important to avoid overwatering or allowing it to sit in wet soil.

Aeonium 'Sunburst' is a monocarpic plant, meaning it will die after flowering. However, it typically produces many offshoots before flowering, which will continue to grow. It is only the flowering head that will die, and this can be cut off when flowering is finished.

This plant is a variegate of Aeonium davidbramwellii and is thought to be a hybrid or cultivar. Its unique variegation and striking pink edges make it a popular choice among succulent enthusiasts. A sandy loam or regular potting mix is suitable for this plant, and it can be fed with a half-strength balanced fertilizer during the growing season.

In summary, Aeonium 'Sunburst' is a showstopping succulent that is easy to care for and will add a unique touch to any space. With its vibrant variegation and striking pink edges, it is sure to be a talking point among plant lovers.
