Aylostera Pink Champagne is a delightful and attractive cultivar that bursts into bloom with masses of stunning 3 cm flowers during the summer. This alpine cactus, native to Bolivia, showcases beautiful large flowers in pale pink, orange, and yellow hues, creating a spectacular display in spring and summer. Individual heads of this cactus grow to around 2 cm across and form offsets at the base, developing dense clusters up to 15 cm across within 3 to 4 years. As they mature, these cacti produce numerous offsets and even more flowers, making them a dream for propagators.

The fleshy green mounds of Aylostera Pink Champagne are adorned with soft, delicate, hair-like spikes that are gentle to the touch. The multicolored flowers add a visual feast to any succulent collection. This cactus belongs to the Rebutia and Sulcorebutia groups, reflecting its rich botanical heritage.

For optimal growth, Aylostera Pink Champagne thrives in full sun to part sun (light category 1-2). It prefers well-draining, mineral-rich soil, such as a cacti mix. Fertilize at 25% of the recommended dosage fortnightly or monthly during the growing season to support its growth. While this cactus can be watered year-round and grows fastest in warmer months, it is also remarkably drought-tolerant, staying compact when dry.

Low-maintenance and easy to care for, Aylostera Pink Champagne can be left to overgrow its pots or repotted and divided during the warmer months into any well-draining potting mix. Its ease of propagation and stunning blooms make it a charming addition to any succulent collection.
