Crassula ovata Gollum, also known as Gollum Jade, Finger Jade, or Organ Pipe Jade Plant, is a remarkable succulent that can add unique and intriguing visuals to any indoor or outdoor space. This compact, sparsely branched, and erect plant forms a small upright shrub and can grow up to 80cm tall. With its segmented and branching trunk that thickens with age, this plant develops interesting stem patterns, making it an excellent choice for bonsai enthusiasts.

Crassula ovata Gollum plants have smooth, tubular, trumpet-shaped leaves that are deep glossy green in color and usually have bright red margins. They may also transition to bright yellow on the ends with orange tones, adding a striking appearance to the plant. In winter, it produces clusters of small, star-like, white or pinkish-white flowers with pink stamens, making it a great choice for any winter garden.

Crassula ovata Gollum is a hardy plant that can grow in a pot or in the garden, in full sun or part shade, with a preference for well-drained soils with added organic matter. To ensure optimal growth, it is recommended to water the plant well and allow it to dry out before watering again. During the growing season, fertilizing with a diluted balanced fertilizer can promote healthy growth.

This plant is a hybrid cross between Crassula argentea and Crassula lactea and belongs to the CRASSULACEAE family. It is a great specimen for pots, planters, or rockeries and is a fast-growing plant, with young plants quadrupling in size in just one year. Crassula ovata Gollum is a must-have for succulent enthusiasts and is sure to add a touch of charm to any space it is grown in.
