You will receive two healthy Crassula perforata ‘Southern Cross’ (white variegate) cuttings similar in size and quality to those shown in images 2 & 3. The first image shows an established plant for display purposes. Each cutting is carefully selected and supplied ready for planting.
Colour and variegation will vary naturally depending on the season and growing conditions.
Cuttings are individually selected to provide similar overall value to those shown in the product images. As size varies naturally, additional smaller cuttings may occasionally be supplied where necessary to provide equivalent value.

About Crassula perforata ‘Southern Cross’
Crassula perforata ‘Southern Cross’ is an attractive variegated form distinguished by its strongly contrasting green and creamy white foliage. Its fleshy triangular leaves grow in opposite pairs along the stems, creating the distinctive stacked appearance characteristic of Crassula perforata. Pink to reddish margins can also develop under suitable light and seasonal conditions, adding further colour to the variegated foliage.
As the plant matures, its stems gradually lengthen and branch to form an attractive multi-stemmed specimen. Its combination of geometric growth, bright variegation and compact form makes ‘Southern Cross’ particularly appealing in pots, mixed succulent arrangements and rockeries.
Growing from Cuttings
Crassula perforata ‘Southern Cross’ is particularly well suited to propagation from stem cuttings, making this an easy and economical way to establish the variegated form. The two cuttings can be planted together to develop a fuller specimen or grown separately as individual plants.
Allow any freshly cut surfaces to dry and callus before planting into a free-draining succulent mix. Keep the cuttings in bright, filtered light while they establish and water sparingly at first, allowing the growing medium to dry between waterings. Once established and actively growing, they can gradually be introduced to stronger light while taking care to protect the paler variegated sections from sudden exposure to intense sun.
As new growth develops, the characteristic stacked leaves continue along the stems and the cuttings gradually branch to form fuller plants. Variegation can differ naturally between individual stems and through the seasons, with the balance of green, cream and white giving each developing plant its own character.

- Some plants, may look wrinkled when they arrive, may be somewhat limp, or soft to the touch. This is normal as they have been dried out for for a number of days before shipping to avoid rotting in the mail.
- Succulents are very hardy plants and they will recover quickly, providing you unpack them as soon as you receive them follow some simple care instructions you will find with your order.
