Echeveria 'Belato' is a striking Korean hybrid succulent developed by PKJ, known for its elegant rosettes of blue-green leaves with soft pink edges that become more pronounced in bright light. This beautiful coloration gives it a delicate, almost pastel-like appearance, making it a standout in any succulent collection.
In spring or early summer, Echeveria 'Belato' produces tall flower stalks adorned with vibrant red or orange blooms, adding a bold contrast to its cool-toned foliage. It thrives in bright, indirect sunlight and should be watered only when the soil is dry, ensuring water does not collect in the rosette to prevent rot.
Maturing at around 13 cm in height and spreading up to 20 cm wide, this compact yet striking hybrid is perfect for container gardening, rockeries, or as a feature in succulent arrangements. It is not frost-tolerant and should be protected from extreme cold. Best propagated through leaf cuttings, offsets, or stem cuttings, Echeveria 'Belato' is a winter-dormant succulent that requires minimal maintenance but rewards growers with stunning seasonal colour shifts and charming blooms.
