Echeveria 'Bloody Conch' is a captivating new Korean hybrid succulent, derived from the much-admired Echeveria 'Conch Girl'. With its light green leaves often veering towards an almost white appearance, this succulent is intriguingly distinct. This unique colouration is amplified by a profuse layer of white powdery farina, a natural wax that lends a distinct visual interest to the plant.

What sets Echeveria 'Bloody Conch' apart, however, is its dramatic transformation under stress, particularly due to cold over winter. The leaf tips of the plant turn a profound, intense blood-red, creating a compelling contrast against its otherwise light body. This transition enhances the succulent's appeal and offers a mesmerizing spectacle, particularly under optimal light conditions.

Echeveria 'Bloody Conch' is as resilient as it is attractive, demonstrating impressive hardiness across Australia's diverse climates. It thrives in well-drained soil and can adapt to various light conditions, from bright indirect light to full sun exposure.

Its ease of care and response to environmental changes, coupled with its striking leaf colouration, makes Echeveria 'Bloody Conch' a fascinating addition to any succulent collection or garden. Although its growth habit and cultivation are largely similar to its parent 'Conch Girl', 'Bloody Conch' exhibits its unique charm through its stress-induced color transformation.
