Echeveria 'Irish Mint' is a striking succulent hybrid that will make a lovely addition to any garden or collection. This plant is the result of crossing Echeveria derenbergii and Echeveria runyonii 'Topsy Turvy,' resulting in its unique appearance. The plant's bright green leaves grow in a tubular shape and create an upswept pattern, forming a symmetrical rosette that can grow up to 12cm in diameter and 10cm in height.

Irish Mint's vibrant green foliage can range in color from darker green to light green and even yellow-green. During the spring and summer months, the plant produces showy pink-orange flowers that are known to attract hummingbirds, making it a delightful addition to any garden.

To keep Echeveria 'Irish Mint' thriving, it is crucial to provide it with bright, direct sunlight, and well-draining potting media. The plant is sensitive to waterlogging, so the soil should be allowed to dry out entirely before watering. When watering, be sure to provide deep, thorough irrigation. This succulent is drought-tolerant and does not require frequent watering. However, pot plants will need protection from heatwaves in the summer as the leaves may burn.

While Echeveria 'Irish Mint' can tolerate some shade, it may stretch out and become leggy. It does best with bright light, good airflow, infrequent deep waterings, and regular feedings. Regular feeding will help ensure good, compact rosette growth and encourage impressive golden orange blooms. This succulent does not do well with extreme heat or below freezing temperatures, making it suitable for houseplant life on a brightly lit windowsill indoors.

Echeveria 'Irish Mint' is a low-maintenance plant that produces pups during the winter months, making it an excellent choice for gardeners looking to expand their collection. It is a beautiful landscaping succulent that adds contrast and texture to the garden and looks lovely on its own in pots or as part of an arrangement/fairy garden.
