Echeveria 'Moon Fairy' Variegata is a rare and beautifully refined variegated succulent admired for its elegant rosette, soft pastel colouring, and slow-growing nature. While the exact parentage of this cultivar has not been officially documented, it is believed to have originated as a selected variegated sport, propagated vegetatively to preserve its unique colouring. Its compact form and subtle blend of tones have made it highly desirable among collectors of premium variegated echeverias.
The symmetrical rosettes are composed of fleshy, lanceolate leaves with gently pointed tips, creating a graceful, architectural appearance. The foliage displays soft shades of pale green to silvery-grey, beautifully accented by creamy white to buttery-yellow variegation around the leaf margins. When grown in bright conditions and exposed to cooler seasonal temperatures, the leaf tips often develop delicate pink, peach, apricot or reddish-orange highlights, adding another layer of colour without overwhelming its naturally understated beauty.
