Echeveria Muesli is a stunning Korean hybrid, that is sure to impress anyone with its beautiful foliage. This rare succulent which is similar in shape to E. imbricata, boasts wide, spoon-shaped leaves with pointed tips that can vary in color from blue-green, to deep purple and even a vibrant pink. The leaves have a powdery coating of natural wax, giving them a unique and fascinating texture.
This succulent forms an even, circular rosette with its broadly spatulate leaves, which tightens up during the winter months. As it enters dormancy, the colors of its foliage intensify, displaying stunning shades of burgundy and purple. To keep your Echeveria Muesli happy, it's best to pot it up in a cactus compost with added grit or a soilless substrate such as a specialist bonsai mix.
Echeveria Muesli loves the sun, but it's not fond of excessive heat. During the summer months, be cautious of sunburn and provide some light shading during the hottest part of the day. The key to successful growth of this succulent is to provide it with lots and lots of light and less water. It's best to water only when the potting mix is dry as succulents don't like to have wet feet. If water sits in the rosette, it can quickly cause stem rot.
Echeveria Muesli is a low maintenance plant that adds an exotic touch to any collection. It's perfect for growing in pots, hanging baskets, and rock gardens. With proper care, this succulent can reach a height of 15 cm and a spread of 20 cm. As with all succulents, it's important to remember that less is more when it comes to watering. Keeping these factors in mind will ensure that your Echeveria Muesli rewards you with colors that truly pop.
