Echeveria 'Pappy's Rose'
Echeveria 'Pappy's Rose' is a sought-after ornamental succulent celebrated for its frilly leaves that blush a vibrant red under stress, particularly during summer with strong light exposure. This low-growing beauty, while drought-tolerant, reveals its full potential with regular deep watering and fertilizing, expanding up to 25 centimeters in optimal conditions.
Cultivation requires a position of full sun to partial shade, with a preference for well-drained, fertile soil. A touch frost hardy, it is best sheltered from extreme cold. When planting, consider a warm, sunny spot with partial shade to protect from midday sun, using a 50% shade cloth if necessary to optimize color while avoiding sunburn.
Echeveria 'Pappy's Rose' can grace your garden with its blooms from early spring to late winter. However, for plants that are not robust, it's advisable to remove flower stalks to conserve energy until they are well-established. For propagation, leaf cuttings are the way to go, placed on a propagation medium and kept in indirect light to encourage root and leaf development. With such care, this echeveria is not just a plant, but a statement piece for any succulent collection.

Succulents naturally change in colour, size and form throughout the year. Many develop richer colours and more compact growth during periods of seasonal stress, particularly through cooler months and brighter conditions, while warmer or lower-light conditions may produce greener, softer growth.
The plant you receive may therefore vary from the product images depending on the season, its stage of growth and current growing conditions. These natural variations are part of the character of living plants and do not affect their quality or health.
