Echeveria 'Pink Diamond' is a captivating rosette succulent, distinguished by its vibrant pink coloration. This fascinating plant is a result of a naturally occurring whole plant mutation of its close relative, the endearing Echeveria 'Lola'. Discovered amidst a cluster of 'Lola' plants in an Altman Plants greenhouse, this unique succulent showcases the wonders of Mother Nature's unpredictability.
The most striking feature of 'Pink Diamond' is its vivid pink hue, which contrasts with the more subdued alabaster rosettes of 'Lola'. This delightful succulent also exhibits a more pronounced color contrast between its leaves and leaf margins, and its leaves have a subtle upswept appearance. While 'Lola' takes on a violet blush in cooler weather, 'Pink Diamond' intensifies its pink tones and maintains them throughout the year, unlike many other pink succulents that only reveal their true colors in cool temperatures. The combination of its eye-catching pink shade and hyaline margins, inherited from 'Lola', sets 'Pink Diamond' apart from other pink succulents.
Ideal for mixed planters, centerpieces, and small pots, Echeveria 'Pink Diamond' is a versatile and enchanting addition to any succulent collection.
