Graptopetalum amethystinum, commonly known as Lavender Pebbles, is a stunning slow-growing succulent native to Mexico that has become a favorite among succulent collectors and enthusiasts around the world. This plant has been used to create many beautiful hybrid varieties, such as Graptoveria Orange Snow Ball and Graptosedum Miul, making it a must-have in any collection.
Growing Lavender Pebbles is easy and straightforward. These hardy plants love bright light and do best in full sun for most of the year, but need protection from the hot afternoon sun in summer to avoid leaf burn. They can survive for months without water, but it's important to water them when the potting medium has dried out and the bottom leaves are soft to the touch and a little shrunken in size.
Potting up should be done slowly in stages using a free-draining potting mix, and it's important to avoid planting in a pot that is too big for the plant. Overfeeding should also be avoided, as it can cause the leaves to grow big and long, resulting in a less desirable look. Instead, feeding a small starter plant can help it become robust with a thick stem fairly quickly, but at some stage, it's important to stop feeding and allow the plant to grow more slowly to produce the smaller, chubby leaves that are the desired look.

Orders are dispatched according to our weekly shipping schedule, available on our Shipping page, with tracking provided once your order has been lodged with Australia Post.

Pickup is available in Seville, Yarra Valley VIC by appointment. Order online as normal and any shipping charge will be automatically refunded after collection, unless you would prefer to receive an additional plant of similar value instead.
