This subspecies, often called the Ghost Plant or Mother of Pearl Plant, forms compact, symmetrical rosettes of thick, fleshy leaves that create a serene and ethereal presence. Its silvery-grey leaves can shift to pale green or lavender-pink when exposed to bright light, making it a rewarding plant for those who enjoy subtle colour changes throughout the year.
Reaching approximately 20 cm in height, this low-growing succulent spreads gracefully, rooting where its stems touch the ground, making it ideal for rock gardens, containers or as a groundcover in xeriscaping.
