Graptoveria 'Peach Frost'
Graptoveria 'Peach Frost' is an attractive succulent with beautifully sculpted rosettes and a delicate palette of silvery blue, pale lavender and soft peach-pink tones. Its broad, fleshy leaves are covered in a fine, powdery coating that gives the plant its distinctive frosted appearance, creating a gentle, almost porcelain-like finish.
Distinctive Foliage and Seasonal Colour
The thick, spoon-shaped leaves are arranged in an open, symmetrical rosette, with softly pointed tips and smooth, rounded surfaces. A natural waxy coating, known as farina, gives the foliage its muted, silvery appearance and helps protect the plant from strong sunlight and moisture loss.
Under bright growing conditions, the leaves may develop subtle peach, pink or lavender undertones, particularly during periods of cooler temperatures or increased sunlight. During active growth, the colouring can become softer and more silvery, with gentle blue-green shades. These seasonal changes contribute to the plant's appeal, with each rosette developing its own delicate combination of pastel tones.
Growth Habit and Propagation
Graptoveria 'Peach Frost' develops a substantial central rosette as its fleshy leaves mature. With age, the lower leaves naturally dry and detach, gradually revealing a short stem. Under suitable growing conditions, plants may produce offsets that can be separated and established individually.
Like many Graptoveria hybrids, it can also be propagated from healthy leaves or stem cuttings. Allow cut surfaces to dry and callus before placing them in a free-draining propagation mix. Take care when handling the leaves, as the protective farina can be permanently marked where touched.
Growing Graptoveria 'Peach Frost'
Position in a bright, well-ventilated location with several hours of gentle direct sunlight to maintain compact growth and encourage its soft pastel colouring. In warmer Australian regions, protection from intense afternoon summer sun may help prevent leaf scorch, particularly while plants are becoming established.
Grow in a free-draining succulent potting mix and water thoroughly once the soil has dried. Reduce watering during prolonged cool or wet conditions and protect from frost and excessive winter moisture. Good airflow and avoiding water sitting in the rosette will help maintain healthy foliage.

The plant you receive may therefore vary from the product images depending on the season, its stage of growth and current growing conditions. These natural variations are part of the character of living plants and do not affect their quality or health.
