Graptoveria Pink Ruby
Graptoveria 'Pink Ruby', also known as 'Bashful', is a beautiful succulent with mint green leaves that turn to a stunning pink-red hue in colder months or under stress. It forms tight rosettes that grow up to 9 cm in diameter and can clump readily. This Altman Plants original hybrid has unknown parentage and is a sought-after addition to any garden.
For Graptoveria 'Pink Ruby' to thrive, it requires well-draining soil and lots of sunlight. It is best suited to growing in full sun during the cooler seasons of spring, autumn, and winter. During hot summer days, it prefers afternoon shade to avoid sunburn, especially when grown in pots. Although it can tolerate extreme temperatures, it is more hardy when grown in the ground.
This sun-loving plant needs watering regularly during the summer months, but minimal water is required in winter. Overwatering can lead to root rot, and pest infestations can also occur.
