This habitat, rich with species like Hechtia glomerata and Echeveria gibbiflora, lends to the cactus’s resilience and unique adaptations. 'Spike' inherits these robust traits, making it a reliable and eye-catching addition to any collection.
The cylindrical, dark blue-green stems of 'Spike' are adorned with large, needle-like spines that range in color from white to deep reddish-brown.
