Pachysedum Ganzhou β Cutting β this listing is for one cutting. You will receive a single cutting similar in size and quality to those shown in the product images. Multiple cuttings may be pictured to show natural variation. Colour, size and form may vary slightly depending on season, growth stage and growing conditions.
Pachysedum Ganzhou is a beautiful hybrid succulent admired for its thick, powdery blue-green leaves and soft pastel colouring. The fleshy foliage forms attractive compact rosettes, often developing pink, peach and lavender tones under brighter light and cooler conditions. Its heavy farina coating gives the plant a soft frosted appearance that makes it especially appealing to collectors of pastel-toned succulents.
As a cutting, this is an excellent way to grow your own plant from the ground up. Once established, Pachysedum Ganzhou develops into a sturdy, branching succulent with a full clustered appearance over time. In ideal conditions it may also produce small star-shaped flowers during the warmer months, creating a lovely contrast against the powdery foliage.
The exact parentage of Pachysedum Ganzhou remains somewhat debated among collectors, adding to the interest and character of this distinctive hybrid. Its combination of Pachyphytum-style chunky foliage and Sedum-like growth habit gives it a unique appearance that stands out in any succulent collection.
Best grown in a well-draining succulent mix in a bright position with some direct sun for optimal colour and compact growth. Allow the cutting to callous before planting if freshly cut, and water lightly until roots establish. During active growth from spring through autumn, water thoroughly only once the soil has fully dried. In Australian conditions, protect from excessive prolonged rain, harsh summer heat and heavy frost while roots are developing. With time and proper care, this cutting will grow into a colourful and rewarding specimen.
