Pachyveria 'Blue Mist', also known as Sedeveria 'Blue Mist', is an intergeneric hybrid resulting from the cross between Sedum craigii and Echeveria affinis. This hybridization gives Pachyveria 'Blue Mist' a unique set of characteristics that make it stand out from other succulent plants.
Despite being considered a ×Pachyveria, the flowers of Pachyveria 'Blue Mist' are not reminiscent of Pachyphytum. Instead, they strongly resemble those of S. craigii. This makes Sedeveria Blue mist the most accurate term for this plant, but many people know it as Pachyveria Blue mist due to its original classification.
This succulent grows in a rosette shape and can reach sizes of up to 8 cm in diameter. Its fleshy blue or purple leaves take on an even more intense and bright color with prolonged exposure to direct sunlight. They are covered with a whitish pruina, giving the plant a dusty appearance that adds to its charm.
Pachyveria 'Blue Mist' is an easy-to-care-for plant that requires bright, indirect sunlight, well-draining soil, and occasional watering. It is drought-tolerant and can withstand long periods of dryness, making it a great choice for those who forget to water their plants frequently. With its unique coloration and low-maintenance nature, Pachyveria 'Blue Mist' is an excellent addition to any succulent collection, and it will impress any plant enthusiast.
