Graptoveria 'Bridgette' (multi Heads)
Graptoveria 'Bridgette' is a compact hybrid grown for its unusually thick, rounded leaves and soft pastel colouring. The fleshy leaves are covered with a powdery farina and can range from pale blue-green and grey-green through cream, pink, peach and muted mauve tones depending on growing conditions.
Thick, Rounded Foliage
'Bridgette' develops exceptionally plump, oval to slightly elongated leaves arranged into compact rosettes. A coating of farina gives the foliage its soft, matt appearance and contributes to the pale, muted colours characteristic of the cultivar. As with other heavily farinose succulents, handling can leave permanent marks in this natural protective coating, so plants are best handled as little as possible.
Colour & Clumping Growth
Foliage colour changes noticeably with light, temperature, watering and the plant's stage of growth. Softer growth can show more blue-green and grey-green tones, while stronger light and seasonal stress can bring out considerably more pink, peach and mauve colouring.
Established plants can gradually develop into dense clusters containing a number of closely packed rosettes. The combination of new growth and older, more strongly coloured leaves can produce several different pastel shades on the same plant.
Growing Graptoveria 'Bridgette'
'Bridgette' prefers a lean, gritty and free-draining growing medium with relatively low nutrient levels, particularly nitrogen. It is best grown steadily rather than pushed with rich, highly fertilised media. Combined with good light, slower growth helps maintain compact, sturdy growth, plump foliage and stronger colouring. Allow the growing medium to dry appropriately between waterings, particularly during cooler periods or when growth has slowed.
Plants grown under softer conditions should be acclimatised gradually before being exposed to substantially stronger sunlight.

Succulents naturally change in colour, size and form throughout the year. Many develop richer colours and more compact growth during periods of seasonal stress, particularly through cooler months and brighter conditions, while warmer or lower-light conditions may produce greener, softer growth.
The plant you receive may therefore vary from the product images depending on the season, its stage of growth and current growing conditions. These natural variations are part of the character of living plants and do not affect their quality or health.
Pickup is available in Seville, Yarra Valley VIC by appointment. Order online as normal and any shipping charge will be automatically refunded after collection, unless you would prefer to receive an additional plant of similar value instead.
