Pachyveria 'Clavifolia', also known as Jeweled Crown or Powdered Jewel Plant, is a stunning succulent with attractive powdery blue-grey leaves that form dense rosettes with slightly pointed tips. This striking plant is a result of a cross between Pachyphytum bracteosum and Echeveria rosea, and was created by Jean-Baptiste A. Deleuil of Marseilles in the late 1800s.
The rosettes of Pachyveria 'Clavifolia' can grow up to 6 cm in diameter, while the stems can reach up to 15 cm in length. The fleshy leaves are slightly upcurved and flattish, with a length of up to 4.5 cm and a width of up to 1.5 cm. The tip and margins of the leaves have a pinkish tinge that is most prominent in full sun, adding a lovely contrast to the powder blue color of the leaves.
Pachyveria 'Clavifolia' is a plant that thrives in hot and dry conditions, making it a perfect addition to any garden or collection. This succulent can tolerate poor soil conditions as long as it is well-draining, and can thrive in full or partial sunlight. It is important to allow the soil to dry out before watering, and avoid getting water on the leaves. The plant can survive under-watering, but it is essential to thoroughly soak the plant when the leaves start to wrinkle to prevent damage.
In spring, Pachyveria 'Clavifolia' produces star-shaped, orange-red flowers that appear tightly clustered on 60 cm long stems. This succulent is a wonderful addition to any garden, as it is low-maintenance and adds an interesting texture and color to any space.

Overall, Pachyveria 'Clavifolia' is a unique and striking succulent that is perfect for adding a touch of color and texture to any garden or collection. Its low-maintenance nature, coupled with its stunning appearance, makes it an excellent choice for any succulent enthusiast.
