Pachyveria scheideckeri 'Silk Variegata' is an elegant and highly sought-after succulent prized for its powdery pastel colouring, compact growth habit and beautifully sculptured foliage. A hybrid within the Crassulaceae family, Pachyveria combines characteristics of both Pachyphytum and Echeveria, inheriting the thick, water-storing leaves of one parent and the symmetrical rosette form of the other. This variegated selection forms dense, attractive rosettes of fleshy leaves coated in a fine layer of natural farina, giving the plant its characteristic silky appearance. Soft shades of icy blue, silver-green and pale mint blend across the foliage, while subtle pink highlights may develop along the leaf tips and margins during cooler weather or periods of bright light. The variegation can vary between individual plants, making each specimen unique.
