Sedum Lydium is a very interesting, underrated Sedum rock crop, with extremely fine needle like leaves that form into little rosettes. Also known as Mossy Stonecrop or Least Stonecrop, it is a charming and easy-to-grow succulent groundcover. Its creeping and rooting branches form a dense mat of foliage that flushes red or purple in the sun, making it an attractive addition to green roofs, dry-stone walls, or rock gardens. This Sedum is native to western Turkey, where it grows in damp and mossy places on mountains.
In the summer, Sedum lydium produces clusters of white star-shaped flowers with five petals and a striking red midvein, adding to its beauty.
