Senecio 'Angel's Tears' is a beautiful and unique succulent plant that makes a great addition to any succulent collection and is perfect for a hanging basket or trailing over the edge of a pot. This Japanese hybrid is a cultivar of the popular Senecio rowleyanus 'String of Pearls' and is known for its striking variegation and fast growth.
The plant features long, thin stems that can reach up to a meter in length, with small triangular leaves that are a bluish-green color and have a mosaic variegation that is more pronounced in new growth. The pinkish stems add a lovely contrast to the foliage.
Senecio 'Angel's Tears' is an easy plant to care for and is drought-tolerant, making it a great choice for areas with low rainfall. It prefers well-draining soil and bright, indirect light. However, it is important to note that the plant contains alkaloids that can be toxic if ingested, so it should be kept out of reach of children and pets.
This beautiful succulent is also well suited to rock gardens or as a ground cover, adding a unique touch to any space. Its fast growth and easy propagation make it a great choice for plant lovers of all levels.

Succulents naturally change in colour, size and form throughout the year. Many develop richer colours and more compact growth during periods of seasonal stress, particularly through cooler months and brighter conditions, while warmer or lower-light conditions may produce greener, softer growth.
The plant you receive may therefore vary from the product images depending on the season, its stage of growth and current growing conditions. These natural variations are part of the character of living plants and do not affect their quality or health.
Pickup is available in Seville, Yarra Valley VIC by appointment. Order online as normal and any shipping charge will be automatically refunded after collection, unless you would prefer to receive an additional plant of similar value instead.

I was a bit worried when the express post took 4 days. However when I opened my package I saw that the succulents were all wrapped individually and sitting snug in the box. They all looked healthy. None looked dry or stressed. I was very happy with their size also. What really made my day was a surprise gift of a few cuttings. The written instructions were most helpful to help my plants settle in their new home.
Store owner replied: Thanks Tracey! So glad everything arrived healthy after the longer trip, and lovely to hear the surprise cuttings made your day. Thanks for the wonderful review! 😊
Love it! Will order again!

Store owner replied: Thanks so much, Megan. We’re glad everything arrived safely — hanging plants can be tricky, so it’s great to hear they’re settling in well.
