Graptopetalum mendozae Variegata Cuttings offer a lovely way to grow this small, freely branching succulent, with plump rosettes in soft green, cream and pale yellow. Some leaves show distinct bands of colour, while others have gentler markings, giving each cutting its own character.
What You Will Receive
You will receive unrooted cutting heads similar to those shown in the images. Choose from 1 Head, 2 Heads or 3 Heads, subject to availability. Please select your preferred option from the menu above the “Add to Cart” button. The images show typical examples of the cutting heads supplied; their size, variegation and colour will vary naturally.
Graptopetalum mendozae Variegata forms small rosettes of rounded, fleshy leaves. Its creamy markings brighten the naturally soft foliage of Graptopetalum mendozae, and established plants gradually branch into attractive clusters. Variegation differs from head to head, so the balance of green and cream will not be identical in every cutting.
This form can grow more slowly than the regular green plant, especially where a rosette has a high proportion of pale leaves. A bright position helps maintain compact growth, while protection from harsh summer afternoon sun helps prevent the lighter areas from scorching.
Planting and Growing Your Cuttings
Check the cut ends when your order arrives. If a cut end is fresh or moist, leave it in a bright, sheltered spot with good airflow until it has dried and formed a firm surface. Once dry, place the stem in a free-draining succulent mix and keep it secure while roots develop. Avoid keeping unrooted cuttings wet; begin watering more normally after they have established roots.
Grow in bright light with gentle sun or filtered light, allowing the mix to dry appropriately between waterings. Acclimatise rooted plants gradually to stronger sunlight and provide extra protection during hot weather. With time and suitable care, the cuttings can develop the branching, multi-rosette habit that makes this variegated form so appealing.
Graptopetalum mendozae Variegata cuttings for sale shown in the images. You will receive cutting heads similar to those pictured for your selected option. Colours, size and variegation will vary depending on the time of year and growing conditions.
Shipping & Dispatch

Orders are dispatched according to our weekly shipping schedule, available on our Shipping page, with tracking provided once your order has been lodged with Australia Post.
Seasonal Colour & Plant Variation
Succulents naturally change in colour, size and form throughout the year. Many develop richer colours and more compact growth during periods of seasonal stress, particularly through cooler months and brighter conditions, while warmer or lower-light conditions may produce greener, softer growth.
The plant you receive may therefore vary from the product images depending on the season, its stage of growth and current growing conditions. These natural variations are part of the character of living plants and do not affect their quality or health.
Pickup Information
Pickup is available in Seville, Yarra Valley VIC by appointment. Order online as normal and any shipping charge will be automatically refunded after collection, unless you would prefer to receive an additional plant of similar value instead.
